Palm Pixi – Cool Gestures |
Comment Now |
Gestures are undoubtedly one of the features of Palm webOS phones and the Palm Pixi is no exception to this rule. They are a great way to quickly access any feature on your Palm Pixi and the best part is that you can do pretty much anything and everything in the gesture area with just one finger.
While it's a cool feature in Palm Pixi, many first time Palm buyers need time to get familiar with gestures. If you are facing trouble using gestures on your Palm Pixi or you have any queries about how to use gestures, you'll be able to find all answers related to Palm webOS gestures here.
It explains everything including basic gestures, scroll gestures, zoom gestures, text selection gestures, drag and drop and plenty more. More importantly, if you are having trouble setting the advanced gestures on/ off, just follow the instructions on the above link and gestures will work like a charm.
I personally find some of these gestures absolutely awesome.
- End an active call by using the card view - Throw the phone application card off the top of the screen. Simple and cool, isn't it?
- Disable Bluetooth - Swipe down the right corner of the screen
Though, I must admit that I find the space too tiny to be able to comfortably use multitouch gestures. This is especially true when using applications like Google Maps as they have several clickable points through out the display area.
Never the less, the gestures are great at making the Palm Pixi a very user friendly phone.
