Amazon Offering Palm Pre Plus (AT&T and Verizon) for One Cent
The prices of Palm phones continue to plunge. Amazon is now offering the Palm Pre Plus – both for AT&T and Verizon subscribers for one cent. That’s just about as close as it gets to getting a Palm webOS phone for free. That’s not all, there are other complimentary goodies as well. Amazon is offering free activation and free two-day shipping for users who purchase the Palm Pre Plus between 12:00 midnight PDT on June 14, 2010, through 11:59 p.m. PDT, June 30, 2010. If you are a Verizon subscriber, there’s good news for you as well – Verizon has waived off the $40 monthly fee to turn your Palm Pre Plus (and Palm Pixi Plus) phone into a 3G Mobile Hotspot. The mentioned offers are not valid for prepaid and unlocked phones.

Palm Pixi Plus Comes to AT&T
The Palm Pixi Plus went on sale for AT&T subscribers last Sunday. You can order your Palm Pixi Plus either online or through AT&T retail stores. The latest webOS phone is available in two colors – Black and Blue. It costs $49.99 with a 2-year contract. If you are not fond of contracts, you can buy the contract-free version for $299. IMO, the Pixi Plus contract is a good deal considering that it’s almost one-third of what you’d pay for Palm Pre Plus.

Sprint Offering The Palm Pixi For Free With Contract
Sprint is now offering the Palm Pixi ‘free with a 2-year contract’ through its online portal. Sprint retail stores may not be stocked with these free Pixi handsets and therefore the online option is the safest bet. The catch is that you’ll have to agree to a two-year contract, which is livable if you’re a long term Sprint customer anyways. Sprint’s two year contracts range from $69.99 to $189.98 per month.
