WebOS to get Adobe Flash in less than 45 Days

It looks like WebOS will be first mobile operating system to support Adobe Flash - and it's coming quickly. Adobe says:

A prerelease version of Flash Player 10.1 is now available for Windows, Macintosh and Linux operating systems. A beta is expected to be available for Palm webOS later this year.

This year doesn't have a lot of time left in it, which is why this is significant news. It also seems like Palm is getting a step up on the competition with this.

While I'm not always the biggest fan of Flash, I realize that something like 99.9% of the desktop computers have it. Web publishers have started to assume that everyone has Flash. That assumption won't hurt users of the Palm Pre and Palm Pixi.
